Bike Week runs from March 9th to the 18th this year. Read below to learn more about some of the events that will take place.
The streets of Deland, Florida, DelTran’s beautiful hometown, will be lined with bikes on March 10th for the Deland Bike Rally. You won’t want to miss this rally, which has become the official unofficial kick off for Bike Week.
Deland was named “America’s Main Street” in last year’s competition of the same name. With a brewery, artisanal coffee roaster, and a number of amazing restaurants, downtown Deland has become an unexpected foodie spot.
Thousands of people and hundreds of motorcycles will fill the streets for the rally. It is an amazing event that should be at the top of your to-do list.
Places To Ride:
Daytona Bike Week is just the starting point. There are many Amazing rides through Florida to take advantage of. If historic and a quaint small seaside town is your scene you must check out St. Augustine ( the oldest US City) which is 60 minutes north of Daytona. Just south of Daytona head down to Ponce Inlet to check out the lighthouse and coastline. Only a 20-minute drive to great restaurants and bars sit beachside.

For a scenic back roads cruise leave from Daytona and head to Mount Dora. You will pass through small towns such as Barberville and Astor along the St. John’s River and cruise through the Ocala National Forest on your way to Mount Dora. Mount Dora is known for great little restaurants and bars, a view of their beautiful lake, art festivals, and antiques.
